Thanks to the time I spent working in senior living facilities, I came into contact with a great organization called Philly Senior Stage. PSS works to bring classic Broadway music and musicals to senior living facilities in the greater Philadelphia area, and I’m excited to be performing with them regularly! It’s such an awesome mission that can really brighten the lives of older adults.
I spent a few weeks early this year developing a concert version of Bye Bye Birdie with Aileen Goldberg, which we’ve been taking to various senior living facilities, and I’ve also recently begun accompanying Robb Hutter, PSS’s founder, in various interactive drama classes and performances as well!
Finally, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be appearing in Philly Senior Stage’s fully staged production of Carousel! We begin rehearsing in late April; I’m especially excited because it will really be my first acting experience since the fall of 2016, so I’m thrilled to officially be back onstage.
