I’m thrilled to be working again on such an important and relevant show, especially with such a great team! We spent last week assembling an excellent cast that I was able to begin working with this week. If you’re in the Philadelphia area at the end of April, come check us out! Updates can be found at Front Row Theatre Company’s Facebook page.
A Cappella commissions
This semester, my former a cappella group, the Haverford College Humtones, have commissioned me to create a few arrangements for them! I’m really excited about the opportunity to keep arranging a cappella music, particularly for male voices; it’s where I got started on the “other side” of music making, so I have a great fondness for it.
This post also functions as a plug: visit the Contact Me page to talk to me about getting your own arrangement. My prices are flexible, and I have experience working with a lot of different types of ensembles. I’m excited about making music that works for you!
Mr. Burns: a post-electric play
Right now, I’m working on the Mainstage show at Bryn Mawr College. It’s called Mr. Burns: a post-electric play, and it is pretty rad. It’s about The Simpsons and the aftermath of an apocalypse, which are my two favorite things. I get to write music for the show, imagine what music would sound like 82 years after the disappearance of electricity, and teach music to and make music with a lot of talented singers, actors, and artists.
